CUSCO’S BIVALVE SELF RETAINING VAGINAL SPECULUM
Cusco’s Bivalve Self-Retaining Vaginal Speculum is a gynecological instrument used to examine the vagina and cervix. It helps doctors open the vaginal walls during examination and minor procedures, providing a clear view of the cervix.
Description
This instrument is made of stainless steel and has two hinged blades (bivalve) that open inside the vagina. It contains a screw locking mechanism that keeps the blades open without needing to hold the instrument continuously, which is why it is called self-retaining.
It is commonly used for vaginal examinations, Pap smear tests, IUCD insertion, and minor gynecological procedures in hospitals and clinics.
